The exhibition “Latvian Video Art Archive 1985 – 1995” dedicated to the pioneers of Latvian video art and experimental short films will be on display at the floating art center “Noass” until September 19, and the curator Lauris Vorslavs will tell more about “Klasika”.

The audiovisual content of the exhibition “Latvian Video Art Archive 1985 – 1995” consists of a selection of works of art from the collection of the Latvian Video Art Archive. The exposition includes Art Dzērve, Aija Bleja, Ilze Pētersone, Inese and Ivars Mailītis, Viesturs Graždanovičs, Viesturs Šutko, Hardijs Lediņš, Juris Poškus, Daina Kļavas, Gintars Kavačs, Mārtiņš Ādmiņa, Uolija Aliņa, Uldia Siliņa Video works and short films by Šēnbergs, Ilze Pētersone, Kristīne Želves, Valdis Poikāns, Dace Micāne-Zālīte, Arta Egle-Biseniece and Dita Jākobsone, created by experimenting with the technical possibilities of the analog video format.
