About Boa Vista
Boa Vista, an Equifax company, was founded in 2010 by SCPC (Central Credit Protection Service, translation from Portuguese), the first database in Brazil, and established itself as a reference to support decision-making in all phases of the business cycle. Boa Vista aims to include consumers in the credit market by supporting them in building a sustainable relationship with creditor companies, and by providing financial education information and free services through its official channels.
The company’s principles revolve around data security and privacy, being recognized as the first Brazilian company in the financial and database management sector to obtain ISO 27701 certification, an international standard for information security and privacy.
In August 2023, Boa Vista became an Equifax company. The merger marked an exciting new global chapter for Equifax and Boa Vista customers and employees, giving Boa Vista access to Equifax’s global capabilities and cloud-native data, products, decisioning and analytics technology for rapid development of new products and services and expansion into new vertical industries.
