On Sunday evening, the emergency services responded to a fire at Kløfta. Everyone should have gotten out. Just after 11 pm, emergency services are still on site.

The fire brigade reported the fire just after 7.30 pm on Sunday night. It is burning heavily in a building along Borgenvegen on Kløfta.
It will burn in some apartments on the 2nd floor above a car repair shop.
– It still burns well on the spot. We assume that we have control over those who should be on site. We currently have no reports of injuries, says operations manager Ronny Samuelsen in the Eastern police district to Romerikes Blad at 20.30.
– There are eleven residents who have been evacuated, says operations manager Ivar Myrbø on the spot.
The smoke drifts in a southerly direction towards the E16.
– Those who live or stay in that direction are asked to close windows and stay indoors, the police say.

The fire is visible from a long distance and many people called the emergency services.
