Bram Krikke about Frank Dane: “That poor man. I feel sorry for him”

Bram Krikke thinks it’s “unfortunate” that Frank Dane was removed from the morning of Radio 538. “Yes, that poor man. I feel sorry for him”, the DJ of Qmusic tells Telegraph TV. “He did quite nice. Especially when you hear that it was unexpected for him, it is quite painful.”

At the end of last year Frank Dane was told that his morning show had to stop. “It came like a bolt from the blue for me. It was after Christmas, during the holidays, and I was to leave for Spain the next day. I was called and asked if I wanted to come to Talpa. We called and then I heard they wanted to stop the morning show.” says Frank in RTL Boulevard.

“I don’t think the radio world has hardened enormously,” responds Qmusic DJ Mattie Valk. “It’s always the case that strange things happen in the radio world.” Eva Koreman of 3FM agrees with him. “I think you see more of what’s happening through social media. The exact same thing happened before, but it was less visible.”
