The concert film “Year without a Calendar” of the new album “Brainstorm” will have its premiere this Thursday, October 21, but literally a new single was released the night before its presentation.
With the release of the new album, it is offered to watch and listen to the song “Where God’s Sleigh Slides”, which was made in collaboration with the group “Tautumeitas”. A strong musical ballad with ethnic songs, unusual for Brainstorm, makes you think about what is happening when crossing borders that you can’t think about on a daily basis. Costume designer Liene Bite, as well as make-up and hairstyle specialist Līva Drešere, should talk about the visual images of Renārs and “Tautumeita”. Liene Grava’s choreography also highlights the wonderful common mood, ”this is what this unusual song of“ Brainstorm ”is announced – listening to it and especially watching its clip,“ PV ”fans will be surprised!

We are very happy to be able to collaborate on this album! ” It should be noted that in general “Tautumeitas” participates in three compositions “Year without a calendar”, including the title song, in which Asnate Rancāne sings together with Renārs. “I don’t even remember how our friendship with Brainstorm began,” Asnate thinks. “It happened so organically, and it was definitely not a technical collaboration between two music groups, but the refreshment of related souls in this wonderful creative process, which was complemented by a very human sincerity and love. In an age when everything has been invented and seen, guys have been able to completely surprise. All that can be heard and seen in the concert film is reminiscent of an exotic and emotional journey through the twists and turns of Asian surprises, but they would not be the guys of “Brainstorm” if the Latvian string and warmth were not felt through it all. “
