Bragantino awaits a proposal from Monaco (FRA) for a higher value than that offered by Flamengo

Flamengo has an agreement to sign Léo Ortiz for five seasons. However, there is no agreement with Red Bull Bragantino, owner of the defender’s rights. The São Paulo team plays a ‘hard game’ for a reason: it is awaiting a proposal from Monaco (FRA) for a higher price than that offered by Rubro-Negro.

According to the investigation of the report by the Coluna do Fla, Bragantino extends the negotiation of Léo Ortiz, as they believe that Monaco will make a superior offer. The French team consulted on the situation of the captain of the team from the interior of São Paulo in November. The offer offered by Flamengo is still far from what São Paulo residents want.
VALUES ARE SCARY
Flamengo offered 5 million euros (R$27 million) to Red Bull Bragantino. However, the São Paulo team is asking for 6.5 million euros (R$35 million). Due to the difficulties imposed by the São Paulo club, Léo Ortiz called the club asking to facilitate the negotiation. So, there is an expectation that the conversation will move forward from now on.
Léo Ortiz is on vacation in New York, in the United States, after playing 22 games this year. The defender played little, as he suffered a serious injury last season and only made his debut in July. Bragantino’s captain scored three goals, the last being against Vasco, in the final round of the Brasileirão.
OTHER NEGOTIATIONS
It is not just with Léo Ortiz that Flamengo has advanced negotiations. Rubro-Negro has a verbal agreement with Bruno Méndez, which he did not renew with the Corinthians. However, the athlete is waiting for proposals from Europe. Furthermore, Nicolas de la Cruz is close to playing for Rubro-Negro, but the club needs to pay the termination fine of approximately R$80 million to River Plate (ARG). In total, Tite expects to receive six reinforcements for the following positions: defender, right and left back, midfielder and midfielder.
