Tom Brady (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) broke a new record in the first game of the NFL season. It is the oldest quarterback start of all time.
Brady started his first game of the season against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on 12 (now Korean) and connected a touchdown pass. Brady set the record for the first 45-year quarterback start in NFL history.
The previous oldest starter for a quarterback was Steve Debug, who was 44 years old and 279 days old in 1998. Brady was born on August 3, 1977 and is 45 years old. Tampa Bay won 19-3.
Brady’s 23rd season. Brady is the best quarterback of all time. He made ten Super Bowl appearances, the NFL final, seven times and was the Super Bowl MVP five times. Super Bowl appearances, leagues and MVP awards are all-time highs. He has also been selected three times as the regular league MVP.
Brady was chosen by the New England Patriots with the 199th pick in the 2000 Draft and the following year he served as the starting quarterback. In March 2020, it signed a two-year $ 50 million contract with Tampa Bay. In the 2020-2021 season, he led Tampa Bay’s first Super Bowl victory since founding (2003).
