Cooper initially thought the man wanted to take a picture. When he turned around, he saw a knife. Since he had headphones with music on, he did not hear what the young man wanted from him. Cooper, in his own words, slapped the man’s arm and ran. The man had fled. Cooper himself took photos of the attacker and stopped a police car. “It was crazy,” said the actor. Then he picked up his daughter.
