The Washington Wizards have once again reiterated that their main star Bradley Beal is not for sale despite multiple transfer rumors circulating around him, media sources point out ESPN.
Beal, who has also shown his strong commitment to the capital, is in the last year of his guaranteed contract valued at 33.72 million dollars. To his credit he has a player option for the 2022-23 campaign of $36.42 million, and everything indicates that he will reject it in search of a new commitment for the maximum salary allowed.
Among the many franchises that have shown great interest have been the Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics or New York Knicks, although they have always encountered the same response from the Washington offices: “We did not transfer Beal.”
The 28-year-old shooting guard trained at the University of Florida is averaging 23.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 35.9 minutes per day this season. The Wizards are 8th in the East with a positive record of 23-21.
