The actor was the target of ridicule after his son Pax Thien (20) spoke out about his father on social media: “What a f*cking bad father and world class a**hole,” he said. Yet Brad now wants to forgive him and resolve the tensions in the Jolie-Pitt family.
On Father’s Day in 2020, son Pax Tien Jolie-Pitt shared a vicious message on social media, in which he dragged his father through the mud. Although the message was initially posted on a private account, it recently surfaced. Pax Thien accused his father of making the lives of those around him “a constant hell”. “Happy Father’s Day, you f*cking terrible person,” he continued.
It has been known for some time that Pitt’s bond with his offspring is not optimal. Daughter Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt only gave the surname Jolie when she enrolled at university and the relationship with Brad’s eldest son Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt is also said to be on the back burner.

Sources close to Pitt claim that the actor now wants to see his children more often and strengthen their bond: “He hopes that his children will soon come more often for a joint reconciliation meeting with a mediator,” says a source close to the Oscar winner. “The argument with his children left a big void in his heart, and he wants to start filling it again,” the magazine ‘Closer’ continues. Pitt’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon would also strongly encourage the restoration of the broken relationships with his children.
“In recent years he has taken a step back and respected his children’s decision to no longer seek contact. But now that he is almost 60, he increasingly feels that it is time to bury the hatchet and turn over a new leaf. He desperately hopes there is still a chance to make things right,” the source said.
However, Pitt still has a close bond with his three other children: Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. They will soon join him on vacation in Cabo where the actor will celebrate his 60th birthday.
