The actors will not line up for statuettes. Instead, they will join the group of stars who will present the coveted prizes at the gala in two weeks.
Hours ago, the American Film Academy revealed some of the artists who will meet the film’s excellents of the past year.
In addition to Pete and Ford, the list also includes Joaquin Phoenix, Angela Bassett, Holly Berry, Brian Cranston, last year’s Oscar-winning director Bong Joon-ho, Reese Witherspoon, Renee Zellweger, Laura Dern, Don Cheadle, , Regina King and Zendaya.
This year, too, the institute dedicated to the seventh art observes its tradition of inviting its last laureates in the acting categories to the ceremony. This time, Pete, Phoenix, Zellweger and Dern fall into this category.
