Tottenham Hotspur won in the first leg of 16 Europa League face Dinamo Zagreb. The Lilywhites won 2-0 thanks to a brace Harry Kane.

The round of 16 of the 2020/2021 Europa League brings Tottenham vs Dinamo. The match took place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Friday (12/3/2021) in the morning WIB.

Both teams played attacking from the start of the match. Mislav Orsic opened up opportunities in the first minute with a shot which Hugo Lloris saved.

Tottenham both threatened in the ninth minute. Kane sends a cross into the penalty box which Kevin Theophile-Catherine can block.

GOAL! Tottenham scored in the 25th minute. Kane listed his name on the scoreboard.

Starting from Erik Lamela’s kick which hit the post, the ball then headed to Kane who easily passed it into a goal. Tottenham lead 1-0.

Dinamo almost equalized six minutes later. Bruno Petkovic kicks off the ball from inside the penalty box, but his attempt is saved by Lloris.

No additional goals were scored until halftime. The first half closed at 1-0 for Tottenham.

Tottenham did not relax their attacks in the second half. Kane almost doubled the lead in the 48th minute via his shot ball which still hovered over the crossbar.

Dinamo had a golden opportunity in the 60th minute. Petkovic’s shot shot into the side of Tottenham’s goal.

Tottenham threatened again in the 65th minute. Steven Bergwijn’s volley hit Dinamo’s goalpost.

GOAL! Tottenham doubled the lead in the 70th minute. Again, Kane successfully listed his name on the scoreboard.

Starting from crossing Aurier into the penalty box, Kane received the ball and kicked it into the Dinamo goal. Score changed 2-0 for Tottenham.

Winning two goals, Tottenham continued to surround the Dinamo defense. The home team made a chance in the 83rd minute through Gareth Bale’s free kick which Livakovic was able to tilt.

The 2-0 score for Tottenham is the final result of this match.
