Brabus 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition: Extreme Modified Mercedes-AMG SL63 with 750 Horsepower

The modified Mercedes-AMG SL63 convertible will offer 750 horsepower and a maximum speed of 315 km/h.

The well-known tuner Brabus showed off a new extreme machine, which in its name refers to the name of the company’s founder. Bodo Buschmann founded the now world-famous company in 1977, when he wanted a specific modification for his car, which no one could provide him.

Due to the requirements of German law, his friend Klaus Brackmann became a co-founder of the company, whose name remains part of the company’s name to this day, although he later sold his share in the company to Buschmann. Brabus is a combination of the first three letters of the surnames of both founders.

But now let’s take a look at the new car, which is truly extreme. The basis was the latest Mercedes-AMG SL63, under the hood of which a 4.0-liter twin-turbo supercharged V8 engine is stored as standard. However, it received a good dose of steroids, thanks to which it now offers 750 horsepower (552 kW) and 900 Nm of torque.

It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 315 km/h to avoid damage to the Continental SportContact7 tires. A nine-speed gearbox takes care of transferring the power to the wheels, while the Brabus High-performance exhaust provides a proper sound backdrop.

The exterior also underwent a makeover, which received a number of carbon accessories, including a mask filler, front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler and a diffuser from which four exhaust tips emerge. The wheel arches are filled with 21″ and 22″ Brabus Monoblock II Evo forged wheels with a three-spoke design. The car is equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, Brembo brake calipers and a height-adjustable chassis with Brabus sports springs and an adjustment range of 25 mm.

The cabin has also undergone a modification, which is newly upholstered in black stitched leather and decorated with carbon decors. There are also special plaques bearing the name of the founder of the company, emphasizing the uniqueness of this limited edition and commemorating the year of foundation.

The special limited edition Brabus 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition will be produced in 25 units. The price of one car should be around 336,500 euros, which translates to just over 8 million crowns.
