We have known for years that Guus Meeuwis’ ‘Brabant’ is a fantastic song. In Germany they are now finally behind thanks to a cover of the well-known band Bläck Fööss, together with Hape Kerkeling. Although they have unfortunately replaced Brabant by the German city of Cologne.
The well-known Cologne band mainly makes carnival music, but occasionally also deviates from schlager and pop music. The cover of Guus Meeuwis is very well received by the Germans. In less than a day, the cover has been viewed 75,000 times their Facebook page. Most reactions are very positive.
