The vice president of the BPS, Daniel Graffigna, confirmed that irregularities have been detected, but the magnitude cannot yet be determined, because an investigation is still ongoing.
Graffigna indicated that one of the maneuvers detected was that employees in unemployment insurance they reported to work at the company.
“All these mechanisms that we have made available to companies and workers have been used improperly in order to tackle the situation,” said the vice president of the BPS.
When asked if the maneuvers were related to the partial unemployment insurance, Graffigna said that “some of the anomalies may come from there”, but he avoided giving more details so as not to hinder the investigation.
