The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) processes the payment of customer guarantee claims and carries out the liquidation of the Wijaya Kusuma People’s Economic Bank (BPR) in Madiun, East Java. In a written statement from LPS, Thursday (4/1/2024), it was explained that in the context of paying deposit guarantee claims for BPR Wijaya Kusuma customers, LPS will ensure that customer deposits can be paid in accordance with applicable regulations. LPS will also reconcile and verify savings data and other information to determine the savings to be paid.
The reconciliation and verification will be completed by LPS no later than 90 working days from the date of business license revocation, namely no later than May 31 2024. Payment of customer funds will be carried out in stages over that period.
Customers can see the status of their savings at the BPR Wijaya Kusuma office or via the LPS website (www.lps.go.id) after LPS announces the payment of deposit insurance claims for BPR Wijaya Kusuma customers. For bank debtors, you can still make installment payments or repay loans at the BPR Wijaya Kusuma office by contacting the Liquidation Team.
