BPOM Office Fire, 17 Fire Extinguisher Units Have Been Deployed

Fire Service Fire DKI Jakarta said there was still the potential for fire to spread in the incident BPOM office fire at the State Printing Street, Sunday (18/7) night.

The Fire Service is still trying to extinguish the fire. A total of 15 fire engines and dozens of personnel are still at the scene.

“The deployment of fire engines has now reached 15 units. Propagation is still possible in the area where the fire is located,” wrote the DKI Jakarta Fire Department, via the Twitter account @humasjakfire.

However, in the latest report, the team said that the fire was now under control.

“Handling is still being carried out and the smoke decomposition process is in progress. The number of units deployed has been 17,” he continued.

There is no information yet on the cause of the fire.
