The federal police are looking for witnesses to an incident involving several people on Sunday morning at Freiburg main station. One person suffered minor injuries in the altercation in front of a fast food restaurant and required hospital treatment.
On Sunday morning (April 10th, 2022), around 5:00 a.m., a physical altercation between several men is said to have occurred on the forecourt of Freiburg im Breisgau main station, at the local fast food restaurant. The trigger is said to have been the partially violent entry into the already closed fast food restaurant. This was denied to them by the employees present. As a result, the drunk men are said to have behaved in an abusive manner towards the employees present. Several people are said to have been injured during the physical altercation by a 26-year-old Iraqi national who works at the fast-food restaurant. One person required hospital treatment.
The federal police have initiated criminal proceedings and are looking for witnesses to the incident. People who also observed the incident and can report on it or who may have photographed or videoed the event are asked to contact the federal police on 07628 80590.
