After a man spoke to a federal police patrol at the main train station in Freiburg im Breisgau, he gave the “Hitler salute”. The 64-year-old is now awaiting a preliminary investigation, also because of the use of license plates of unconstitutional organizations.
A federal police patrol was approached by a 64-year-old German national shortly after midnight on Friday, April 8th, 2022 in the main hall of Freiburg’s main train station. After standing in front of the patrol, he is said to have said: “Police, oh yes, you have to do it that way”, he is said to have stretched out his right arm in the “Hitler salute”. Furthermore, he is said to have shown the patrolman the stretched middle finger several times. When the 64-year-old was brought to the federal police station, he is said to have defended himself so much that he had to be tied up. When leaving the office, the man is said to have verbally insulted the emergency services. The Federal Police initiated criminal proceedings against the man on suspicion of using license plates of unconstitutional organizations, insult and resistance to law enforcement officers.
