BPOL-F: Assault and threat perpetrator flees across the tracks

Federal police officers were able to arrest a 37-year-old man from Augsburg on Monday evening, who had previously threatened Deutsche Bahn employees, slightly injured himself by kicking and then fled across several platforms in Frankfurt Central Station.

Employees of DB security found the man sleeping and visibly drunk on the platform and spoke to him. He immediately threatened the employees with words and suddenly kicked an uninvolved train attendant. He then fled across a total of four tracks until he was stopped by federal police officers and taken off the track area.

As part of the further investigation, a credit card from a theft offense in Würzburg and a small amount of narcotics were found and confiscated from the 37-year-old perpetrator.

Investigations into physical harm, threats and violation of the Narcotics Act were initiated against the 37-year-old. Crossing the tracks did not cause any problems. Here, however, an administrative offense procedure awaits the perpetrator.
