This medical history screening can only be done once a year
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Health Social Security Administration (BPJS) has implemented a health history screening feature on the National Health Insurance (JKN) Mobile Application to make it easier for participants to detect the risk of dangerous diseases early on.
“BPJS Health continues to innovate in providing easy access to services for JKN-KIS Program participants. This screening feature makes it easier for JKN patients to detect early risk of diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertension, heart and kidney,” said Head of BPJS Kesehatan Palu, Wahidah, in a press release. received in Jakarta, Sunday.
Wahidah said that independent medical history screening, which can be accessed through the Mobile JKN application, is an innovation of face-to-face service, thereby reducing direct interaction to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
“This medical history screening can only be done once a year. Participants with the results of medium-risk and high-risk health screening are advised to carry out an examination at the First Level Health Facility (FKTP) where the participant is registered,” he said.
Wahidah said, participants who have a risk of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension, cervical cancer, breast cancer and other diseases determined by the Ministry of Health can obtain certain health screening services at First Level Health Facilities (FKTP).

One of the JKN-KIS participants, Helyanita Br Surbakti, revealed that she was greatly helped by the JKN Mobile Application, where all information and services can be accessed only by using a cellphone.
“I often think about my own health condition, but am reluctant to go to a health facility and consult a doctor directly, especially during the current pandemic, I must always be careful not to be exposed to COVID-19,” he said.
However, with the Mobile JKN, participants who work as journalists can immediately carry out health screenings and are grateful that the screening results are low risk and are advised to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Medical history screening can be done by FKTP or independently through the Mobile JKN application or through the BPJS Health website and the Chika 08118750400 application which can be accessed by participants via WahtsApp, Telegram or Facebook Messager.
