Boyko, who bombarded Boyko with summons, is now afraid to reveal his secrets about “Hemus” and runs away from the summoner

The special relationship between Rashkov and Borisov will end up in court in January-February, or until the last word of either

Boyko Rashkov and Boyko Borisov have a special and dangerous relationship, in which they both want to clarify their roles to the public, but still fail.

For half a month now, the former interior minister and current deputy of “Let’s continue the change” has refused to go to the prosecutor’s office to reveal what he knows about the money for the Hemus motorway.

And on Thursday, he gave a colorful explanation of why he ran and declined the subpoena. The prosecutor and Ivan Geshev intervened, inserting them into a “hellish” plan. As is known, GERB is conducting a lawsuit against Rashkov due to the statements of the minister of Kiril Petkov on the “Hemus” issue and the money bags that ended up in the party’s secret coffers. The claim against the deputy of “Promyanata” is worth 100,000 levs.

However, Rashkov suspects that if he receives and goes with the summons for questioning to the prosecutor’s office, which conducts an inspection for plots 7,8 and 9, then

Borisov will immediately learn from Geshev the secret tricks of the former interior minister

And so the latter could lose the civil case against himself and have to pay 100 thousand levs.

In an angry explanation on the sidelines of parliament on Thursday, the head of the Interior Ministry, “Petkov”, confirmed that his disagreement with the former prime minister, which came to a head with the arrest of Borisov, has not subsided in the least since Rashkov is not in power. On the contrary.

At the end of November, in a television interview, the deputy of “Let’s continue the change” announced that he was ready to provide documents for Hemus as well. And since there is an investigation procedure for this, the prosecutor has promised to call him to say what he knows on the subject. Even a few days ago he was supposed to appear at 90 “Cherkovna” street. However, it turned out that Rashkov, who is an associate professor of criminal procedure, refused to receive the summons when they tried to hand it to him on December 2.

For this reason, the State Attorney’s Office reminded him that every citizen is obliged to present himself when summoned. Otherwise, he can be fined up to 2,000 levs.

Though a lawyer, Rashkov doesn’t think like an ordinary citizen

“Obviously, Borisov, through Geshev, is trying to find out what I know and what I could present in the case against me, which GERB is conducting in the Sofia City Court and is scheduled for January-February,” he explained in the parliamentary conference Margins . And again he spoke about the millions in the bedside table of the ex-prime minister’s house in Barcelona… Obviously, it is equally important for Rashkov to clarify who Mata Hari is – as Borisov described the silhouette of the woman from the prime minister’s residence in “Boyana” .

Rashkov suggests the opposite order: first clarify all this and then he will accept the summons for “Hemus”.

On the part of Borisov’s fans, all these months the 19 estates of lawyer Boyko Rashkov and the unusual post-nuptial agreement between him and his wife, in which the impressive estate is divided, are remembered.

The conflict between the two men came to a head that months ago

his brother-in-law Borisov admitted that he hated the name along with Rashkov

Since the ex-investigator entered the monolithic building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on “September 6” street in Sofia, after the president returned him to the big game, he focused mainly on the persons of the GERB leader and the prosecutor head. And since this happened in the midst of the war of the head of state with prosecutor No. 1 and with the prime minister deposed, it was natural that Rashkov, as a member of the presidential team, recognized these two figures as the main enemies.

And some lawsuits rained down on “Bankya”. Borisov was called in for questioning in July last year by the national police on the basis of a report that he had threatened a businessman that he could… literally eat him. And according to another report, he courted tennis player Cecil Karatancheva while she was a minor.

Then Borisov was questioned in December about a BOEC report that he had blackmailed accused businessman Vasil Bozhkov.

The court also declared the nighttime arrest of the former prime minister, his publicist and the former finance minister unlawful.

However, Rashkov promised to finish the topic of beams and rods, but this did not happen either.

Indeed, Borisov had already been called to explain the photos with the stacks of checks,

who led the prosecution. But even that was not enough for Rashkov.

“We don’t know whether or not he was questioned, what he said. He was not questioned during the previous investigation, which the prosecutor’s office refused to complete”, was the ex-minister’s explanation.

At the end of last year, in an interview with “24 Chasa”, Borisov was asked: “Are you worried that one morning Rashkov will arrest you in Bankya?”

“After I do that, GERB will hang my portrait on the wall and canonize me. If that’s the point, welcome.” In this interview, Borisov says his party has nothing to do with the withdrawn BGN 53 million and recycled from AM “Hemus” and that

the prosecutor’s office is the guardian of democracy in the presence of Boyko Rashkov

Furthermore, the former prime minister denies having gold bars on his bedside table.

As it turns out, the warm relationship between the two will continue into 2023.
