If I am the boss of bTV, I will remove Biliana Gavazova and Zlatimir Yochev from the show. This surprising comment was made by the acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov in an interview with BNR.
“I want to say two sentences about my participation in bTV yesterday. I saw what journalism should not be like and probably the way Gavazova and her partner (Biliana Gavazova and Zlatimir Yochev) edited the show is a lucrative activity,” announced Rashkov, asked about his participation in the morning block of television, in which he announced that there may be a police umbrella over vote buying.
“I heard in their ears the technical means of telling them exactly what to ask me,” he added.
“The sound in these technical means was so loud that they didn’t hear my answers and that’s why they asked me a question several times. I’m not surprised that Bulgaria is in 112th place in terms of freedom of speech. If I own this TV, I will immediately removed from the show, “Rashkov said.
Boyko Rashkov was a guest on the bTV program “This Morning” on Tuesday. There, he announced that the security system had been beheaded after executives went on unpaid leave until September, after the caretaker government was appointed.
“Do you know how much they got sick when the caretaker cabinet took office? Did you know that the security services in our country went on unpaid leave until September. The question is: Who allowed them to receive this leave? (.. .) The Regional Director of Plovdiv, all senior officials in the security system in our country are currently on unpaid leave, and who allowed them, given that they are directly subordinate to the Prime Minister? “I leave it to your viewers to answer for themselves. The state is currently without the leadership of our security services. These services have beheaded themselves,” Rashkov said.
He added that the people in key positions in the system were appointed by the previous government.
