Boyko Borisov: We will be kind, like the kind moose – Bulgaria

“As of this moment, we do not have an invitation from the BSP for negotiations on the third mandate”.

This is how GERB leader Boyko Borisov commented on the handing over of the third mandate to form a government to the BSP, recalling that the GERB Congress decided not to support a cabinet with the BSP mandate, reports BGNES.

“They are currently coming to what we have been talking about for two months – instead of Ninova saying that she will not support a GERB government, a leadership council could have been gathered even then and seen under which mandate a government can be formed. And not an official government to rule the country for months,” Borissov pointed out.

“I remind you that this is exactly how we approached with Prof. Gabrovski – distant from everyone. But then everyone wanted to sit on their ego. And our government had the support of 115 deputies. After that, what did “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria” achieve – a declaration , not a government – a declaration that gathered 63 people’s support,” said Borisov.

“It is possible to talk, but our position in this case will be very firm, not because we are not flexible, but because we have a decision of the Congress not to support a government with the mandate of the BSP. In this difficult situation, they have a chance to form a government and instead of calling others to account, – “Democratic Bulgaria” was in a coalition with the BSP until a month ago, “We continue the change” – also. Together with “Bulgarian Rise” – if they find other support, and they can – they can cabinet even without us. And very calmly,” said Borisov.

“We will be kind, like the kind moose. Now, when I look at who is doing what, everything is pre-election,” added Borisov.

“President Radev, thinking logically and having so many BSP ministers in his cabinet – Yavor Gechev, Krum Zarkov, etc., – as Iliyana Yotova also said, – gave the mandate to someone to continue the policy of the caretaker government. And Hristo Ivanov and Kornelia Ninova are doing what we also wanted – a social contract with management priorities,” Borisov believes.

Petkov: PP are ready for negotiations for a government with the third mandate

“The state does not have a vision, we are not seriously outside, the BSP has the mandate, it proposes a government – there is no problem in supporting it, if we have an agreement for how long and what this government will carry out. We are not turning into a country in which the union makes the strength, but in state of campaigners – we make voters hate each other,” said the GERB leader.
