To mark its 130th birthday, TSV Eddelak organized a black light event in the sports hall. The motto was “TiDaTo”, which stood for table tennis, darts and goal wall shooting. While TSV chairman Marc Umlandt welcomed honorary chairman Ralf Pisarski and honorary member Reimer Borchers, Stefan Stollberg explained the rules of the game to the participants.
Ten teams of five took part. Men’s athletics, Fit for Fun, Stepping Queens, darts, table tennis, handball and a team from the board were there from TSV. FC Averlak had a women’s and men’s team and the community was also represented by a team.
Goal wall shooting was an individual discipline where everyone had to complete ten shots. Because the goals were tied, the shooters had to go again and in the end Dennis Peters (FC Averlak) won ahead of Holger Rehberg (TSV table tennis) and Jan Groth (TSV handball).
For darts and table tennis, the ten teams were divided into two groups. There everyone played against each other, ten minutes of table tennis and ten minutes of dart throwing. The participants were able to watch the end of the game on a large clock.
The results were awarded points and the two group winners made it to the final, while the runners-up played for third place. After almost four hours, the winning teams were determined. The women from FC Averlak were the winners ahead of the teams TSV Handball and TSV Tischtennis.
