Boycott?; Actress Ananya Pandey does not take it seriously

Mumbai: Actress Ananya Pandey responds to threats of boycott in Bollywood. The actress said she doesn’t mind the boycott culture on social media and knows what to take seriously. Ananya Pandey gave an interview to India Today.

‘It has become like a cycle. Every day one is ostracized. Otherwise each one is cancelled. Our course is wrong. I asked someone if I was banned. Still, I’m fine. Learning new things every day. Understanding how to filter things. Know what to take seriously. None of them are taken seriously.’ – said Ananya Pandey.

She also opened up about the South-North divide in cinema. ‘Frankly, I don’t see such a divide. Every film and director is different. I saw only this simple difference. Meanwhile, why do these people cause so much panic among people? Why the South-North divide? We are making Indian cinema’ – she added.

Ananya’s latest movie is Vijay Deverakonda starrer Ligar. Puri Jagannath is the director of the film. Released on August 25. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Puri Connect. American boxer Mike Tyson is playing a role in the film. Another lead actress is Ramya Krishna.
