/ world today news/ I sincerely sympathize with Mr. Ognyan Minchev. I strongly disagree with his hyper-Euro-Atlantic beliefs, but he is an intelligent and emotional man.
Blinded by partisanship, fans of various ideological stripes can hardly be expected to put themselves in his shoes and understand him. It is difficult to understand how one of the best of the Euro-Atlantic information “special forces” will praise (already constantly) the leader of the BSP.
For those who know the meaning of the term “geopolitics”, everything is extremely clear and logical. The “Reshetnikov” media smoke screen no longer works, for the literate it only arouses an ironic smile. Mr. Ognyan Minchev did not get carried away and did not drift into memories of the times when he was a teacher of scientific communism. On the contrary. He remains to this day an authentic and consistent (for which I respect him) Euro-Atlantic, who defends a kindred spirit looking with him in the same direction.
The case reminds me of the old social pens that mimicked the imported BIC pens. Ours had one huge flaw. They dropped pen and stained the front pocket of white shirts.
So our “pencil”, due to its choleric nature, badly stained our “white shirt”…

Let me brag to you – for the first time in a long time, I am a “red trash”, a “communist”, except that I am “from AONSU”, and now I am also a “hybrid”… The reason – that I praised Cornelia for expelling Gergov. I will praise her – along with anyone else who and when she does something noteworthy and praiseworthy. In this case, the praise for Cornelia is not because of the expulsion of a specific person – whoever he is, but because of the principled reaction to the behavior of a party member in a leadership position who allows himself to trade influence and participate in the application of pressure through abuse of office situation. Once again – well done, Cornelia! Regardless of what practical motives or “ulterior motives” may have motivated this reaction to what Gergov did. If more politicians – even with “ulterior motives and motives” – react according to the principles of public life and do not allow abuse of a leadership position in a party or state institution, Bulgaria will have increasing chances to become a normal, modern and democratic country. But my word here is for those “anti-communists” who vigilantly prevent the class enemy from being praised – on any occasion. Dignified behavior is measured in one’s ability to recognize and praise the positive qualities of one’s opponent – or adversary. Friends are easy to praise, even if there is no reason for it. It is worthy to acknowledge the good deed of your opponent. If you don’t have the same standards of good and evil – regardless of who committed it – you are at a pre-moral stage in your human development. Alas! A hundred times I would rather be called “red – blue, green … – garbage” than to resemble those who reproach me with the above arguments. It’s hard, it’s hard to make a European nation and a democratic state with such a slogan – red, blue, green… Neisse, shut it up!
