Boy William to Deddy Corbuzier

OctaFX broker is illegal by the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (CoFTRA) because it does not have a license in Indonesia.

However, many influencers and youtubers are promoting this online broker. CoFTRA also said that OctaFX had been blocked for operating illegally.

Head of the Bureau of Legislation and Enforcement for CoFTRA, Aldison Karorundak, asked the artists or influencers involved to stop promotional activities.

“OctaFX is an unlicensed foreign broker, CoFTRA has blocked it. The classic problem always appears and we continue to monitor it,” he explained.

There are several famous influencers and youtubers who are also promoting OctaFX. Here’s the list:

Boy William

Youtuber Boy William has also promoted OctaFX on his youtube account. In a video, you can see the OctaFX logo on the top left and the BW logo on the top right.

Still in the video, Boy also invites his audience to download the OctaFX Trading App. In the description box Boy also includes a link to download and join OctaFX.

Deddy Corbuzier

Deddy has also promoted OctaFX. The video uploaded on May 4, 2020 discusses the OctaFX broker.

In the video, Forex trading ambassador Daryl Yahya reveals that OctaFX is not registered with CoFTRA. “They are not regulated with CoFTRA in Indonesia, that doesn’t mean it’s bad. They are regulated in their country,” he said.
