Matusadona National Park, spanning nearly 570 square miles, was once renowned for having the highest density of lions in Africa. It’s a habitat rich in biodiversity, home to leopards, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and a variety of antelope, according to african Parks.
Search teams tirelessly scoured the park for five days,using drums to try and guide the lost boy towards them,Murombedzi explained.It wasn’t untill Tinotenda heard a park ranger’s vehicle and attempted to approach it that he was finally found. Although he missed the vehicle initially, he left behind “fresh little human footprints,” which led rescuers to him.
“This was probably his last chance of being rescued after 5 days in the wilderness,” Murombedzi wrote.”A true miracle.” Expressing gratitude for the boy’s safe return, she added, “This is a testament to the power of unity, hope, prayer and never giving up.”
