A 3-year-old boy suffocated to death after being left inside a vehicle for several hours amid the high temperatures that have recently been recorded in Florida, according to local authorities.

NBC Miami reported that members of the Miami-Dade Fire Department transported the boy to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after admission.
The New York Post reported that the father of the child declared to the police authorities that he forgot to have left the minor inside his vehicle at the beginning of his work shift at the educational center.
