Amazon has outdone itself this time, hasn’t it? Danilo Assis commented on Twitter about a saga he has been facing to try to receive his expected PlayStation 5.
That’s because he purchased the video game, so on the 24th he received the box at his home. However, upon seeing the contents, he did not believe it. In place of the device was a white plastic laundry basket.
Danilo then shared the situation with his followers
I suffered the biggest scam possible by @amazonbrasil yet.
I bought a considerably EXPENSIVE product through amazon and they simply delivered a bizarre rubber(?)

double surprise
After many similar reports, Danilo complained and made it clear that it was only by contacting the government consumer channel that he got a chance to try to receive the PlayStation 5, for which he paid so dearly. But alas, continued no luck!
So, after two weeks of waiting, a new box arrived. However, to his surprise, when he opened it, the video game was not there again. The order actually contained eleven sealed packs of cappuccino capsules for Nescafe machines! Look:
Remember this story? After a lot of fighting https://t.co/f7ulvhPX8H a @amazonbrasil resent the PS5.
Guess what again it came wrong. This time a box of dolce gusto coffee capsules. I don’t want to imply anything but this is all very bizarre for a store like amazon https://t.co/AroaIObY58 pic.twitter.com/Vqh2oIsZvD

Unbelievable, isn’t it? So the story went viral and joined many other bizarre online shopping experiences.
However, despite Amazon having responded, Danilo obviously showed his dissatisfaction with having received the wrong product twice and reported that he no longer knows what to do.
In fact, a follower of Danilo shared her own bizarre experience:
“Welcome to the team. I bought an iPhone 13 and received a self-help book (…). I will sue and I will win.”
Another user reported that he bought a notebook and received a hair product. Another bought clothes and received pink socks!
The reason for these mistakes (or not mistakes) we don’t know, but the sequence of Danilo’s tweet was filled with several impressive reports, involving purchases of notebooks, clothes, cell phones and expensive books. Everyone received random objects. How crazy, isn’t it?
Some commented that the problem would even be with the carrier and not with the site. We wish Danilo luck in his PlayStation 5 saga!
