Boy (15) reports to police after fatal stabbing Rotterdam | Inland

The boy has reported himself to the police. His exact role in the stabbing is being investigated.

Several bunches of flowers have been laid on the spot where the 15-year-old victim also died on Thursday. Candles are also lit for the victim.

The victim (15) was found on Thursday around 5 p.m. at a football field on Goedenraadweg. Emergency services attended the scene, but CPR was to no avail.

Local residents are shocked by the fatal stabbing. “I have no words for it,” said a local resident, swallowing her tears to De Telegraaf. What exactly happened is not yet known. Local residents speak of a fight with at least ten children, but the police are still investigating.

“I don’t go out after seven o’clock in the evening. Way too dangerous. One moment you’re still having fun playing football with those young people, the next there’s a fight. It’s dangerous and they’re unpredictable,” said an 18-year-old boy. “The only time that it is quiet here is until two o’clock in the afternoon because then the young people are still sleeping. After that, you can hardly walk safely on the street anymore,” adds another resident.
