Boy (15) crashes with car during police chase

A 15-year-old boy was knocked over by the car he was driving last night. He was chased in The Hague by the police. The boy was not injured in the crash.

“We wanted to have the car stopped for inspection,” a police spokesperson told Broadcasting West† “That was because a light was broken and we were driving too fast.” The boy ignored the stop sign and ran.

He drove into a tree on Hengelolaan. The car then flipped over. The boy, who obviously drove without a driver’s license, was examined by paramedics and arrested by the police. After his parents were informed, the boy was allowed to spend the night at home. He is being interrogated today.
