It was a week ago that 18-year-old professional boxer Jeanette Zacarias Zapata died after being knocked unconscious during a gala in Montreal.
The Canadian authorities are to investigate the Mexican’s death and have therefore stopped all professional boxing indefinitely. This means that Berghult, who would have played a title match against Marie-Ève Dicaire at the Bell Center in Montreal next Friday, will have to wait another time to face the Canadian.
