Bowling pitch, swimming pool, sports halls, gymnasiums, stadiums … What has reopened or not in Montluçon (Allier)?

No more exercise bikes, weight training mats or jogging in your garden. It’s been several weeks since the practice of sports gradually fades away in France. And a fortiori since this Tuesday, June 2, activating the possibility of reopening most of the equipment or playgrounds … But this is indeed a “possibility”. It is up to the cities to seize it in whole or in part. So we sorted site by site in Montluçon. To your pens. Are you ready? Note.

It reopened (*)

  • The private gyms : Basic-Fit ; Elancia ; Fitness Park ; Magic Form ; The Blue Orange… Ditto for the club’s “box” CrossFit.
  • Navigation sports: the Circle of sail ; the Club montluçonnais d ‘rowing ; and the Canoe Kayak Vallée de Montluçon-Lavault, whose access to the public could be re-authorized “in June”.
  • The bike park from Nerdre. Whether for BMX or trial.
  • The skate park located near the Châtelet bridge, on the left bank.
  • The motocross track of Quinssaines.
  • The bowling alley Fazzino (pétanque), since this Wednesday, June 3. Note that the Pétanque Masters, postponed to September 24/25, will not take place outside as in 2019, but inside the bowling alley.
  • The golf Sainte-Agathe.
  • The city-stadiums and parks street workout (outdoor weight training equipment). But they are not disinfected, it is up to the users to do so by bringing their wipes and products.
  • The playground stadium of La Loue (rugby), for young people.
  • The site of sportive shoot outdoors, in Domérat.
  • The Athletics track from the Saint-Jean stadium. But without sanitary facilities, showers or changing rooms.
  • The courts of outdoor tennis at the Saint-Jean stadium and at Dunlop, where the three courts have just been redone. However, all indoor courts are prohibited.

(*) Most of the time, these are reopenings reserved exclusively for the licensees of the clubs using these places. Ask them for more information.

This list is potentially non-exhaustive. And all these resumptions of activities are accompanied by strict rules in order to respect distances and hygiene measures.

The Montluçon skate park is once again accessible.

Deconfinement: what it is possible (or not) to do since June 2

It’s in progress

  • The bowling de Montluçon: reopening scheduled for this Saturday, June 6, according to the Facebook page of the establishment.
  • The aquatic center de La Loue: reopening expected in the coming weeks. Management prefers to take the time to properly prepare for the resumption and to make some adjustments.

It remains closed for the moment

  • The racetrack Saint-Jean: the two horse racing meetings planned for this year have been canceled. See you in 2021.
  • The stages : Dunlop, Ricardo-Molina, Îlets, Pierre-Dupont, Saint-Jean … Only the La Loue playground has reopened (see above).
  • Gyms and indoor complexes: Sports hall, Bien-Assis, Dunlop, Guineberts, Cosec de Nerdre …

All of these sites will remain closed at least until June 22. A new point will then be made by the government, before the launch of a possible “Phase III” of the deconfinement plan. The city of Montluçon will follow the decisions.

Note that the gymnasiums and complexes of Montluçon can once again be used by school children. But only in groups of ten people maximum.

Also note that all toilets and changing rooms aforementioned equipment remains systematically closed.

The sports assistant’s explanations

All the information provided above has been mentioned and validated by the sports assistant for the city of Montluçon, René Casilla. Which specifies: “We followed the reopening protocols proposed by each federation to the Ministry of Sports. Then we reacted piecemeal according to the requests of the clubs ”.

The elected official also indicates that “all the associations that have taken over have committed to comply with federal specifications, as well as health and safety measures ”. Finally, with regard to the Dunlop, Îlets and La Loue stadiums, the elected official adds that “the city’s services take advantage of the time available to maintain lawns now with a view to next season “. Something to start off on the right foot, while having a green thumb …
