NEW YORK – After a beautiful spring day, another frontal system arrived in our area this Thursday, bringing back cloud cover and rain.
The rain hit our region from midnight, falling during the night and tomorrow, according to The Authority in Time (LAEET).
The tracks were severely affected during the morning rush hour due to rain, so it is recommended to leave early if you must drive to work or another destination.
But, the good news is that these conditions will give way to a batch of hot days.
The rain will end before lunchtime with sunshine and 70 degree temperatures back in our area, and even warmer temperatures as the weekend approaches.
Temperatures in the 80s are expected and even as high as 90s are possible for Saturday and Sunday, before a cold front arrives that will cause temperatures to drop by the start of our next work week, according to LAEET.
Here’s a look at the extended forecast:
Thursday
Maximum: 74 degrees. Rain in the morning, sunny in the afternoon
Friday
High: 77 degrees. Mainly sunny.
Saturday
High: 87 degrees. Mainly sunny.
Domingo
Maximum: 84 degrees. Partly sunny with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
