Bournemouth 0-0 Chelsea
Money doesn’t buy happiness, episode 351.
Slowing down since the start of the season, Chelsea once again faltered in efficiency on the Bournemouth pitch this Sunday (0-0). The best opportunities, however, are to be credited to Blues. Nicolas Jackson found the post at the entrance to the truth zone (13th), and Raheem Sterling crossed the line with a free kick. The ball then bounced on the line, without completely crossing it. Levi Colwill followed and scored immediately, but in an offside position (50th). Neto also did the job by stopping captain Conor Gallagher’s strike (33rd) and Cole Palmer’s uncontrolled recovery (85th).
THE Cherries took it, without falling, and managed to return the blows. On a quickly played free kick, Ryan Christie intelligently crossed at the far post for Dango Ouattara, who came up against Robert Sánchez at close range (18th). The locals played their luck bravely, like Justin Kluivert, close to obtaining a penalty by being mowed down by Axel Disasi on the edge of the area (76th). The Dutchman set the London defense on fire, like a cross which narrowly escaped Dominic Solanke and James Tavernier (73rd). Big Dom could have finally freed the Vitality Stadium in the money time if Sánchez had not let his foot drag to repel his attempt (80th). Bournemouth will still wait before securing their first victory this season, despite an interesting copy. For their part, Chelsea remain in the fog, in a very sad fourteenth place, with five points in five games.
Even Manchester United are ahead, that’s saying something…
