Benjamin Bourigeaud on the departure towards Italy? It may well be so because the midfielder of Stade Rennais, very good this season, would be desired by a big team in Serie A, namely Lazio from Rome. According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bourigeaud, ex-player of RC Lens, would be tracked by the leaders of Laziales, with also coach Maurizio Sarri charmed by the qualities of the Rennes player. While the latter has never played abroad, it could therefore well be done in a few weeks.
Bourigeaud on the start?
For the time being, nothing has been done yet but a departure cannot be ruled out since Bourigeaud is coming to the end of his contract in 2023 with the Breton club and he could be interested in looking elsewhere. Only, Rennes knows how much Bourigeaud counts and the Breton leaders have already started discussions with the player’s agents with a view to extending the vice-captain’s contract. The file will therefore be closely monitored in the coming months.
