At the end of the first day of the championship, Boulazac and Saint-Vallier won with difficulty against Lille and Gries-Souffel, ending a perfect 9/9 for the teams who played at home.
Miraculous Boulazac; a 16-0 in the last 4 minutes
One still wonders, how could Lille lose a game they had in their pockets? With 4’25 min from the end, the LMBC, in the lead for most of the game, began to distance themselves on the floor of the Palio (66-75, 35th). Boulazac, author of an excellent group stage of the Leaders Cup, did not show the same pomp. But against all odds, the Périgord team would wake up after 35 minutes overall. And what an awakening! He overcame an unlikely 16-0 (!) To win 82-75. Nic Moore, author of a winning unbalanced shot that overturned Le Palio (78-75, 39th), was the big player of the evening with 34 points in 33 minutes for 31 evaluations. On the Northerners, great disappointment for not being able to kill the match despite the efforts of the duo Suka-Umu – Thirouard-Samsonauthor of 19 points each.

Saint-Vallier resists but does not break
Head-to-head throughout the match (17-20, 10th; 43-45, 20th; 62-62, 30th), Saint-Vallier had apparently widened an almost definitive gap at 1’45 min. end of the match against Gries-Souffel after a 3-point shot by Jazzmar Ferguson (84-73, 38th). But driven by the energy of desperation, the Alsatians were about to collect a small point with 5 seconds left (87-86) thanks in particular to three consecutive 3-point baskets signed Anderson (x2) and Racine. But the latter suffered an unsportsmanlike foul just behind him, nullifying the last hopes of a crazy victory. SVBD finished work on the penalty line by winning 90-86. Ferguson made a very convincing first outing with 25 points and 6 assists for 24 ratings. In front of, Strahinja Gavrilovic once again he carried his team on his shoulders with 20 points at 7/10 on shots and 9 rebounds in 27 minutes of play, accompanied by 21 points (at 6/11 at 3 points) and 7 rebounds (career record equaled) fromAntonio Racine.
