Lisa Marie Presley (52) has been silent in public after her son’s sudden death in July, but now she expresses her despair.
Elvis Presley’s grandson, Benjamin Keough, was due to turn 28 on October 21. But that was not the case.
The 27-year-old died July 12th, and a few days later it was confirmed that he took his own life.
– Will never be the same
Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ only child, has so far remained silent in public about the tragedy. But on what was supposed to be her son’s birthday, she wrote the following words on Instagram under a photo from a previous birthday party:
«My beautiful, beautiful angel, I adored the field you walked on, both here on earth and now in heaven. My heart and my soul traveled with you», She writes.
She describes the suffering she feels as “suffocating and bottomless”.
«I’ll never be the same again. Please wait for me, my beloved. Hold my hand while I still have to be here to raise and protect your little sisters, and support Riley (the eldest daughter (30), editor’s note). I know you wish I did.»
The 52-year-old concludes by congratulating his son on the day.
«My wonderful boy. You were too good for this world».

Benjamin attracted attention because he was very similar to his late grandfather. About a year before the 27-year-old died Lisa-Marie posted a photo of themselves and the children who received massive publicity precisely because of it.
Elvis’ daughter has her two oldest children with musician Danny Keough, whom she was married to from 1988 to 1994. She also has twin daughters of 11 years.
