Both Chelsea men are seeking summer transfers after the Graham Potter disaster.

Chelsea striker duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic are looking to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, according to reliable reports. Both forwards have struggled to establish themselves in Graham Potter’s plans and following a slew of new arrivals in January, they have been pushed even further down the pecking order.

Aubameyang suffered the unfortunate blow of not being on Chelsea’s Champions League squad list – indicating that Potter is no longer ready to call on the Gabon international.

The relationship between the pair apparently broke down at the start of January when he was substituted, then removed, in the 1-0 loss to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Pulisic has struggled to regain form after injuring his knee in the same game and his future in west London now looks bleak.

According to The Athletic, the two players have decided to leave this summer to start new chapters in their careers.

It looks like neither player is likely to return to the limelight unless there is a manager change.

Aubameyang was the subject of interest from LAFC during the January transfer window, but a move hasn’t happened for the former Arsenal captain.

Former club Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also shown interest, meaning Aubameyang could still stay in Europe.

Meanwhile, Pulisic’s stock has fallen after a series of injury campaigns.

Manchester United and Newcastle clubs have shown interest, but it’s unclear if Chelsea are ready to sell to a direct rival.

The USMNT international, who performed well at the World Cup, is out of contract in the summer of 2024.

This means that Chelsea should get rid of him at the end of the season, unless the pendulum swings late.

A host of other Chelsea first-team stars also have uncertain futures at the club.

Mason Mount is yet to sign a new contract and it is believed there is some distance between his demands and what Chelsea are ready to deliver.

Additionally, the playmaker has lost his spot in Potter’s starting XI, raising fears that he may be looking for a new challenge.

Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, meanwhile, are still awaiting news from Chelsea on their future after entering the final 18 months of their contracts.

It now seems likely that Potter’s future could have big implications for the future of a number of its current players.
