Botafogo closed the purchase of the player for €20 million (R$107 million), with €16 million (R$85.6 million) fixed and a further €4 million (R$21.4 million) in bonuses and goals.
Fluminense maintained 15% of the player’s economic rights when negotiating Luiz Henrique with Betis and is also entitled to an additional 3.5%, as a training club, through FIFA’s solidarity mechanism..
Thus, the Tricolor club would receive €2.4 million (R$12.85 million) for the share of economic rights plus €560 thousand (R$3 million) in the solidarity mechanism. With the amounts related to goals and bonuses, Fluminense would pocket another €600,000 (R$3.2 million).
