Bot, auction today: decreasing yields: the calendar of the next issues

MILANO – Yields falling in today’s one-year BOT auction. The treasury placed 8 billion of bonds maturing on 14 April 2025, with a coverage ratio of 1.33 and a demand for 10.641 billion euros. The average yield – reports the Bank of Italy – is 3.533%, down one basis point compared to the previous auction.

The calendar of upcoming issues

Yields therefore continue to remain attractive for savers. The February 9 auction saw 9 billion euros of securities on sale with an offered yield of 3.521%. On March 12, the Treasury placed 7.5 billion in securities with a yield of 3.546%. The next issue is scheduled for Friday, when the Treasury will offer medium and long-term bonds at auction for a maximum of 8.25 billion euros.
