Boston Scientific bets on the growth of women in the manufacturing industry

For more than three decades, medical device manufacturer Boston Scientific Dorado has been committed to developing innovations that positively impact the lives of patients around the world.

To achieve significant change, the company recognizes that it is necessary to have a team that reflects diversity of thought, skills and experiences. For this reason, it reaffirms its commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture through practices and policies that help identify and address gaps.

Today, International Women’s Day, Boston Scientific Dorado will hold a conversation through its YouTube channel, with four panelists who have become industry leaders. The panel will be moderated by communicator Yizette Cifredo and will address topics such as the barriers women face in industries that are often male-dominated and how Boston Scientific Dorado has helped them grow in their careers.

The panelists who will share their stories stand out in the different departments of the Dorado plant, including the quality department and the production department. The first Vice President of Operations of Boston Scientific Dorado, Iliette Frontera, will also join the discussion.

In 2022, Boston Scientific was recognized with the Catalyst Award, the premier recognition for initiatives to achieve diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizational culture.
