It’s now official: we know the poster for the Eastern Conference final. The Heat will face… the Celtics! Brad Stevens’ men took the Raptors down, and they can thank Marcus Smart for that.
The Raptors and the Celtics were on the court again this Friday night to do battle with their Game 7. An exciting series from start to finish, but which was bound to know a cruel outcome for one of the two teams. In the end, it is the Raptors who will return to their hotel disappointed. They lost by a score of 92-87.
Pascal Siakam still missed out with 13 small points. The interior has never managed to adapt to the bubble and will have to come back even stronger next year, it which could not live up to expectations.
Quite the opposite of Jayson Tatum after all. The winger was there in Game 7 and finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. A great performance even if the Celtics can also thank Marcus Smart. The rear stalled a very important block in the last minute to come away with the victory.
