Boss-Rush-style adventure ‘Bound by Blades’ arrives on PC this November – That’s Gaming

Independent publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Zeth today announced a November 15 launch date for their next deceptively welcoming boss-style adventure Bound by Blades. Released on Windows PC via Steam and GOG, Bound by Blades is an action RPG focused on intense boss rush-style combat. Travel through the realm of Ashmyr, face ruthless enemies, collect loot and craft new epic gear to fortify yourself for future challenges. This “easy to learn, hard to master” RPG offers optional two-player co-op for optimal combat strategies. After all, beating monsters together is more fun!

In the latest trailer, solo developer Zeth talks about Bound By Blades’ emphasis on challenging combat, crafting, and co-op. Intended as a simple, casual version of a fun-focused boss racing experience, Bound by Blades offers satisfying and challenging boss battles combined with a beautiful digitally drawn world and imaginative characters.

In the kill-and-conquer style of Monster Hunter and Eldest Souls, players defeat powerful enemies, collect their loot, and use these materials to create better and stronger gear. However, Bound by Blades renews this formula in a way that makes it more accessible and for the casual player. The story of Bound by Blades is set in a fantasy world where players can choose from three different characters, each with their own unique play style. Master the game’s unique combat system, battle the evil forces of Ilcyon and save the land of Ashmry from certain doom.

Bound by Blades launches on November 15, 2022 and is available in the wishlist on Steam and GOG. The game will launch in 2023 on Nintendo Switch and iOS / Android mobile devices.
