A very good 1’12”5 as a mileage verdict, BOSS DU MELEUC had already run well over such distances on the uphill, but not won, let alone already trotted as fast, proving that by now 9 years old he had still intact resources and was the current most formidable gelding of the country in the discipline, being able from now on to be formidable all distances…
From this competition, we will also retain the very good second place of CABAN PRIOR, another talented gelding perfectly aging, while ETOILE DE BRUYERE had to be satisfied with third place, showing that she still needed this race. Fourth, EVANGELINA BLUE had lost quite a bit of ground on leaving, but then made a promising return, while EMIR DE REBOMARD, who was climbing in the category, behaved very well, taking fifth place.
BOSS DU MELEUC sometimes, if not often, found the end of the race difficult on the holding courses, starting from the mid-straight, but it was not the case this Friday, triumphant, the word is not strong trot , in a superb time over 2850 meters, 1’12”5. It is the best gelding in the country on the climb!
