Dorna boss Carmelo Ezpeleta predicts title MotoGP Mandalika could become one of the largest in the world in the future.
Ezpeleta is quite impressed with the implementation of the inaugural Mandalika MotoGP this year. However, Ezpeleta advised that hard work to further improve the quality of the Mandalika Circuit area should continue to be improved.
“There are better things [di Mandalika] from somewhere else. The important thing is that the efforts of the past few months continue.”
“Your facility will really be big. If more people can come, you will receive a lot of tourists from Europe, America and Australia,” said Ezpeleta in talks with Sandiaga Uno.
Ezpeleta assesses that by continuing to develop quality at the Mandalika Circuit, the Mandalika MotoGP has the potential to shine even more in the future.
“It is very important to continue because I tell you, this event will come back in the future and become one of the biggest agendas in the world,” said Ezpeleta.
Sandiaga himself promised that Indonesia would continue to make improvements in the future so that the Mandalika MotoGP event would be more satisfying.
“Hopefully this cooperation will be a long-term sustainable cooperation for and mutually beneficial for Indonesia and MotoGP.”
“I know it’s far from perfect because I’ve been to your races [MotoGP] others around the world. But we will make improvements and adjustments.”
