Bose comes with new noise canceling sleep earplugs

The headphone maker already released similar caps in 2018. The wireless earphones look like other audio accessories from the company, but have a shape that allows you to sleep comfortably with them.

This makes it possible to use Bose’s noise cancellation in bed and filter out loud noises such as snoring from a partner. It is not possible to play your own music, but you can play soothing sounds.

The built-in batteries should last continuously for 10 hours. This would allow the caps to be used during a full night’s sleep.

Battery danger in 2019

The first edition of the Sleepbuds was released in 2019, but had to be withdrawn from stores a year later due to battery problems. This made them too dangerous to wear while sleeping.

With the new version, those problems would be a problem. The used battery is safe enough to use in hearing aids, for example.
