Bosch has introduced a new version of its electric bicycle motor – the Performance Line SX. The novelty is focused on sports bikes and has high power, but at the same time its weight is only 2 kg.
One of the important features of the Performance Line SX is precisely its low weight: the motor itself weighs 2 kg, thus 750 grams lighter than the Bosch CX model, and the battery also weighs 2 kilograms.
According to the company, this kit will be a suitable option for both mountain and city bikes. Despite the lightness of the design, the torque of the engine is not low at all – 55 Nm.
The peak power output is 600W, which will allow the e-bike to climb even steep hills. In addition, the company has added a new Sprint mode that provides extra momentum when pedaling at a high cadence.
The Performance Line SX is compatible with the Mini Remote Control, which is a small and easy-to-use controller. There are three buttons that let you switch between riding modes: Tour+, eMTB and Sprint.
